Acer is offering K-12 schools—nationwide—an opportunity to add some new, computing technology to a needy library. So if your LCM is missing the Media part, this contest is for you!
The winning school library will get 10 Acer Timeline Notebooks, and 2 Acer All-In-One Desktops.
To enter Acer’s School Library Technology Makeover Contest, school staff members, teachers, parents and students need to submit an application by January 8, 2010, at http://professional.us.acer.com/edu/LibraryMakeover. The winner will be determined by a public voting system.
Here’s How:
- Provide a brief summary statement describing why your school library deserves to win a makeover, and how it would make a difference.
- Optionally, you can provide pictures (Google Picassa album URL) and/or a video (You Tube URL) of the needy school library.
- Only one nomination per school can be accepted.
- 10 finalists from will be selected from the applicants
- Public voting will select the winner from 10 finalists beginning February 1, 2010, and ending on March 30, 2010.
Someone has to win, and it might be your school library!
